Care Assistant for Kyrkvägen 4 in Ringarum

We are now looking for a Care Assistant for our care and nursing home, Kyrkvägen 4, in Ringarum.

The facility consists of two wards focused on dementia care and one ward focused on traditional elderly care. Kyrkvägen 4 has 30 places.

Job Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant at Kyrkvägen 4, you will have a fun and developing role where the resident is involved in shaping the day based on needs and wishes.

The role involves working as person-centered as possible by involving residents in their daily lives. It is about seeing and utilizing each resident's abilities to create meaning and improve quality of life.

As a Care Assistant, you are very important in this work, which will require both courage and ingenuity to find the best solutions.

You will be a contact person for some residents, where your task will be to build a good relationship to increase security. As a contact person, you must also ensure that the resident's needs are met as far as possible.

As a Care Assistant, it is also part of the role to perform health and medical care tasks based on assignments from the responsible nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist.

Qualifications

You are a trained Care Assistant, preferably with a specialization in dementia, elderly care, or welfare technology.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience working in a person-centered manner with a focus on participation and working with hands-on care.

You are calm, confident in yourself and in your professional role.

You are self-reliant and can take initiative while also having an easy time collaborating with colleagues, relatives, and other partners, both within and outside your own organization.

You are responsible, sensitive to the individual's needs, and can quickly adapt your work and prioritize according to current conditions.

We assume that you have an easy time building relationships and that you have a respectful attitude and good empathetic ability.

It is important that you can communicate orally and in writing in Swedish, as the work involves many contacts and documentation.

You should be computer literate, preferably with experience in social documentation in the Lifecare system.

We assume that you contribute and are positive towards operational development and have the ability to work with a clear focus on goals.
