About the role

As Operations Manager, your task is to work towards ensuring we have a safe and sustainable network over time. The team you are responsible for is located in both Sävsjö and Vetlanda municipalities and consists of 8 electricians and one storekeeper. In collaboration with power engineers, you are responsible for operations, long-term maintenance planning, and network development. You ensure that we have the right staffing with the right competence and work safely by following ESA standards and conducting systematic work environment management. In the role of Operations Manager, you report to the Business Area Manager for the power network.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead and distribute work among the electrician teams.
• You are responsible for having a functioning emergency preparedness operation.
• You ensure that the power network meets current requirements and standards together with the engineers.
• You participate in budget work and take responsibility for the economic outcome of the business.
• You actively participate in the development of the power network.
• You take responsibility for the work environment tasks delegated to you.
• You plan and conduct employee and salary interviews.
• You coach and support your employees to develop themselves, others, and the business.
• You work actively for a good working climate, promote participation and creativity, so that engagement and motivation are created.
• You monitor the external environment in a changing industry and apply relevant parts in your work.

About you

We are looking for you who have experience from the electrical industry. If you also have experience within power engineering, it is an advantage. We would like you to have previous experience in leadership, but it is not a requirement; we are keen on finding the right person for the assignment.

As a person, you are clear in your communication, you work in a structured manner, and have the ability to create and maintain relationships. To succeed in the assignment, we believe you are driven by the desire to develop people and the business.

The power networks are undergoing change where renewable energy is part of this development. Since you will be involved in this work, we would appreciate it if you have an interest in the area.

A Category B driver's license is required.

About Njudung and the Power Network Business Area

The Power Network Business Area ensures that the municipalities' power network customers have a functioning everyday life with secure electricity deliveries, while simultaneously developing the power network for tomorrow's needs. The business area is responsible for street lighting in the municipalities as well as the company's hydropower and wind power production. The power network is also responsible for ensuring network documentation for critical infrastructure within all business areas.
