We are looking for a specialist in child and adolescent medicine to join our dedicated team at Hagastaden BUMM. Here, you will work broadly with pediatric issues and contribute to the development of future child healthcare.
About Us
Capio Alva BUMM is an established child and adolescent medicine clinic with several units in Stockholm. Our premises are modern and bright, located next to the new Karolinska University Hospital in Solna. Close to restaurants, public transport, and commuter trains.
At our clinic, pediatricians, child psychiatrists, residents (ST-doctors), pediatric nurses, and psychologists work together in an open work climate with short decision-making paths, present managers, and a strong tradition of education. Our managers and medical directors are clinically active and provide support in daily work.
We see children aged 0–17 for investigation, treatment, and follow-up of both common and more complex pediatric conditions. This includes, among other things, investigation and treatment of ADHD/ADD, as well as special clinics for allergies, obesity, and gastrointestinal problems. We also collaborate with psychology clinics, Child Health Centers (BVC), and Malina clinics within the region.
Our experienced pediatric nurses run their own clinics and are responsible for sampling, spirometry, and skin prick tests. We work closely between our clinics and create broad knowledge exchange.
We offer regular internal competence development and supervision, as well as opportunities for specialization in areas of personal interest. We use modern IT and AI support and collaborate between our units to provide the best possible care and create development for everyone.
We value job satisfaction, participation, and initiative. At our clinic, everyone actively contributes to the development of both the business and the work environment.
Your Role
As a pediatrician with us, you participate in clinic work within general pediatrics, including referral assessment, investigation, and follow-up. You work closely with nurses, psychologists, and colleagues from different professions to create security for our patients.
You have the opportunity to supervise residents and students and contribute actively to our quality and development work. You will have the chance to develop your own areas of responsibility and participate in projects within digitalization, children's rights issues, or quality improvements. There is also an opportunity to specialize in areas such as neuropsychiatry or chronic diseases.
About You
You are a specialist in child and adolescent medicine and confident in your profession. Whether you have experience from outpatient care, BUMM, or inpatient care, you are warmly welcome to apply – we see value in different backgrounds and the breadth of perspectives it brings to our team.
If you have previously worked in outpatient care, BUMM, or with supervision of residents and students, it is meritorious but not a requirement. We offer a structured introduction and good support in your new role, so that you can feel secure and develop with us.
Interest in areas such as neuropsychiatry, allergies, asthma, or obesity is positive, but the most important thing is your curiosity and willingness to learn.
As a person, you are engaged, unpretentious, and take initiative. You contribute to a good work environment and always put the child's best interests first. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop, share your expertise, and make a real difference in children's lives – every day.
What We Offer
With us, you get a permanent position with a collective agreement in a modern work environment. You are offered good opportunities to influence your way of working and plan your schedule, as well as a secure introduction and collegial support from an engaged and stable team. We invest in your competence development through an education budget and internal lectures, and you always have access to modern digital work tools and support from our central support organization.
We also ensure that job satisfaction and health are highly valued, among other things through fitness allowances and social activities. Possibility to work at the Child Health Center (BVC) is available if you wish.
In addition, we offer:
- Competitive salary based on your competence and experience
- Occupational pension according to collective agreement
- Present manager and short decision-making paths
- A business where development and participation are encouraged
Application
Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the final application date. Therefore, do not wait with your application.
In connection with employment, we will conduct a qualification check with IVO and the National Board of Health and Welfare, and we will also check the criminal record for the final candidate.
Start date: By agreement
Application deadline: 2026-08-15 (selection is ongoing)
