We are now looking for an experienced nurse/coordinator for ASIH in Inner City Linnégatan (Garnisonen)

We are looking for you who are an experienced nurse/coordinator who wants to work within ASIH (Advanced Home Healthcare) – a form of care where advanced medical care is provided in the patient's own home, with safety, dignity, and presence at the center. It is a job that requires both high competence and a big heart, where every meeting is given time and the relationship with the patient and their loved ones becomes an important part of the care.

Job Description

As a nurse/coordinator in advanced home healthcare, you have a varied and independent job with usual nursing tasks in the patient's home/scheduled days working as a coordinator. You contribute to the patient and their loved ones becoming involved in the care and feeling safe at home during a period of serious illness. The care should meet physical, psychological, social, and existential needs. We document in the medical record system Take Care and plan care in the tool AlfaWelfare (formerly Epsilon).

Your Qualifications

The job requires the ability to work independently and to take own initiatives. Our patients are seriously ill and need medical care but can be cared for in their own homes. Great importance is placed on personal suitability, good collaboration skills, and ethics. You are positive, proactive, stress-resistant, flexible, and feel secure in your professional role. You see it as your clear responsibility to contribute to a positive work climate. A driver's license is required, but for those who enjoy cycling, that option is also available.

Experience in advanced home healthcare or home nursing is meritorious. Adequate specialist education is meritorious, e.g., in oncological care, palliative care, or as a District Nurse (DSK).

The position is full-time (37 hours/week) and mostly during daytime, or as agreed. We apply a six-month probation period.
