We are now looking for a Certified Biomedical Laboratory Scientist (Leg. Biomedicinsk analytiker) for our microbiology department, placed in the serology and molecular biology section.

About the job and your development

The position involves laboratory work including sample and control handling, analysis work, handling of analysis results, and contact with customers. The pre-analytical part with sample sorting and labeling is included as a natural part of the job.

In the serology and molecular biology section, we work with both high-tech automated instruments and manual methods.

Over time, you will take responsibility for different parts of the operations, including instrument and method responsibility, where creating and revising various documents such as method descriptions is an important part.

We invest long-term in each other and offer you, in addition to important, varied, and fun tasks, training on and off the job, as well as opportunities to build networks with colleagues and our suppliers.

The work is currently performed mainly during daytime hours on weekdays, but evening and weekend work occurs.

About you

We are looking for you who are a certified Biomedical Laboratory Scientist, preferably with experience in serology and/or molecular biology. You are responsible, detail-oriented, efficient, and flexible. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Since we work in an international environment, it is also advantageous if you master English.

It is also meritorious if you have previous experience in e.g., method responsibility or quality work.
