Psychiatry South Stockholm strives to become a leading example within Swedish psychiatry. We achieve this by working in a patient-centered manner, providing the right competence for the patient's needs, emphasizing the application of evidence-based guidelines and care programs. We continue to invest in development work in the areas of patient safety, care processes, and our most important resource, the employee. We are over 750 dedicated employees who offer patients good, safe, and equal care.
We are looking for an engaged and licensed nurse for the Psychiatric Team for Intensive Outpatient Care in Nacka. Here, you will have the opportunity to work in an exciting and dynamic environment with a focus on high-quality psychiatric care.
As a nurse with us, you will become part of a dedicated team working to ensure safe and patient-safe transitions between inpatient care and outpatient care.
About Intensive Outpatient Care (IÖV)
Intensive outpatient care is an alternative to 24/7 psychiatric ward care. We offer close contact with healthcare in the patient's home environment for a limited period. The care is adapted to individual needs and can, for example, involve anxiety treatment, activation, and medication follow-up.
The care is always provided in collaboration with regular psychiatric outpatient care, through a combination of home visits, clinic visits, video calls, or phone contact – whichever suits best.
The two main target groups are:
- individuals who have recently been discharged from inpatient care and need secure and close support during the transition home
- patients where there is a risk of admission and where early, intensive interventions can stabilize the situation
Working as a nurse in our team
As a nurse in the intensive outpatient care team, you primarily work together with doctors and other nurses. In the team, you work closely together, and everyone contributes their unique competence. As a nurse, you follow the patients throughout the entire care process within the framework of IÖV. In addition to monitoring well-being and medication, you carry out interventions together with your colleagues, such as behavioral activation, anxiety management, and structured support.
Your new workplace
The team is based in premises located in the nature-friendly Ektorp Centrum, approximately 15 minutes from Slussen. We offer a pleasant and well-structured workplace with good atmosphere, short decision-making paths, and well-designed care processes where we put patients first.
We strive for close collaboration between different professions and actively work for good cooperation with relatives, neighboring care providers, and authorities. We place great emphasis on empirical and evidence-based treatment.
Our expectations of you
You are a licensed nurse with documented experience in psychiatric care.
- You have a strong interest in psychiatric care.
- You are accustomed to taking personal responsibility, working independently, and making your own decisions.
- You are a good team player who values teamwork.

We place great importance on personal qualities.
