About the Role

As a Sub-Project Manager, you will belong to the Main Planning Production section, which is part of the Production Department. Here, approximately 25 employees work within the competence areas of project management, planning, and business development. The section works cross-functionally with both naval and land-based gun systems as well as ammunition manufacturing. The level of experience varies, and you will meet colleagues who are at the beginning of their careers as well as specialists with many years of experience and in-depth technical competence. Here, you will become part of a dynamic and developing environment where you will have close collaboration with assembly, purchasing, marketing, and projects.

Responsibilities and Tasks

As a Sub-Project Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that production fulfills its commitments on time. You will be involved in the entire chain, from manufacturing documentation to finished product and delivery to the customer. You have broad internal contacts and work closely with assembly, quality managers, and other sub-project managers to ensure that the project proceeds according to plan. This role also includes coordinating training and services.

For example, you will:

• Create calculations for each project for the production part.
• Ensure quality and coordinate quality issues.
• Participate in production meetings.
• Follow up on material supply.
• Coordinate pre-delivery inspection and delivery.
• Coordinate training and services.

Since the requirements from our customers are often unique, orders are run as projects, and several projects can be ongoing simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management.
• You likely have a post-secondary technical education, but this is not decisive as professional experience in the field carries significant weight.
• Preference for experience with MRP systems.
• Accustomed to creating and maintaining project plans.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and the group language, English, in both speech and writing.
• Good knowledge of the Office suite.

You thrive working operationally in a production- and product-close role. Your good communication skills make it easy for you to build trust with your colleagues and partners. You can work just as well independently as in a group, and you are structured and driven in your work. You dare to make decisions, are confident in yourself, and stand by the decisions you have made. Challenges occasionally arise in projects where you play a key role in engaging, creating progress, and, as much as possible, anticipating and removing future obstacles.
