We are now looking for a Quality Technician to join our growing quality team in Karlskoga. In this role, you will be a key part of quality assurance within shipping and logistics, ensuring that products, documentation, and processes meet both customer requirements and international regulations.
Your Role
As a Quality Technician, you work closely with the operations within spare parts and shipping at Saab Dynamics in Karlskoga. You collaborate with quality engineers and other functions to ensure that our deliveries meet requirements for quality, traceability, and safety.
A large part of the role is administrative, involving reviewing documentation, handling deviations, and supporting operations in quality-related matters. You work both operationally and improvement-oriented, focusing on developing processes and ensuring compliance with current regulations.
Examples of Tasks
- Prepare documentation and participate in kick-off meetings
- Review packing lists, customer requirements, and regulations
- Create internal delivery certificates
- Identify, register, and follow up on deviations
- Participate in and lead simpler deviation investigations
- Work in cross-functional teams to develop processes and ways of working
- Report trends and quality outcomes
- Support production in matters regarding product requirements, customer requirements, and quality
Our operations are subject to international regulations for the transport of dangerous goods, primarily ADR and IATA-DGR, as well as requirements related to Secure Supply Chain/Known Consignor. These regulations place high demands on traceability, documentation, and safety throughout the supply chain, where correct classification, packaging, and documentation are crucial.
Your Profile
We are looking for you who have experience in quality work within manufacturing industry and who thrive in a role where structure, precision, and collaboration are key success factors.
You are proactive, responsible, and have the ability to create order even in a changing environment. At the same time, you are a team player who enjoys collaborating with others to achieve common goals.
We would like you to have:
- Experience in quality work
- Experience with regulations related to dangerous goods, such as ADR and IATA-DGR
- Good understanding of relevant standards, such as ISO
- Experience with deviation management and root cause analysis in quality or case management systems
- Experience working with documentation and reporting, good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Other Requirements
- Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
- Good knowledge of English
- Relevant education or experience in technology or quality
- Valid driver's license (Category B)

The position may involve on-call duties or shift work depending on operational needs. Travel within Sweden and internationally may occur.
