About the workplace

The Library is one of several departments within Operational Support and has a total staff of 22 employees with a range of different competencies such as librarians, ICT pedagogues, IT specialists and coordinators with various area expertise. The Library's mission is linked to the following five areas: digital support for learning, teaching in academic information retrieval, research and publishing support, media and information resources, and the library as a learning environment.

The position is located in Stockholm and the library has its operations based at a main library at the Swedish National Defence College, Drottning Kristinas väg 37 in Stockholm and a branch at the Military College Karlberg in Solna.

Responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for providing pedagogical and technical guidance to teachers in several digital tools. The main task is to provide support and support in the Inspera platform and on occasions when students write on their own computers (BYOD) during digital examination. You contribute to promoting a thoughtful use of digital examination forms at the higher education institution, among other things by assisting teachers in the construction of exams, giving advice on assessment structures and ensuring smooth result transfer to the study documentation system Ladok.

The work also involves, together with colleagues in the working group, offering pedagogical and technical support in teachers' use of education-related tools such as the learning platform Canvas, the e-meeting tool Zoom and other common digital tools in teaching.

The position is outward-facing and characterized by close collaboration with teachers and colleagues within Operational Support, where you function as an accessible resource and advisory colleague in matters concerning digital pedagogy and tool usage.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who have:

• Education in data and system science or pedagogy at least at bachelor's level or other relevant education.
• Experience of working at a higher education institution with digital support for learning.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you have experience of:

• Education-related digital tools such as Inspera for digital examination, the learning platform Canvas, the e-meeting tool Zoom and other education-related digital tools relevant to the position.
• Digital examination when students write on their own computers (BYOD).

About the employment

The employment is a temporary position for 6 months, full-time, starting 2026-08-30 or according to agreement.

An employment at the Swedish National Defence College may involve a security check for placement in a security class, which means register control and in some cases a security interview with the Swedish Security Service.

The employment may involve war posting. If you are already war-posted in your current employment at an authority and your competence is needed in the Swedish National Defence College's war organization, there will be negotiations between the relevant authority and the Swedish National Defence College about where you should be posted.
