Do you want to make a difference, work with next-generation technology in a global context alongside passionate colleagues towards common goals? Then we might be the right fit for each other.

Do you want to lead a critical function at the heart of Volvo Trucks' production?

Take the opportunity to become a key player in the Truck Technology & Industrial Division at the Tuve factory – our introduction facility where tomorrow's trucks meet production reality for the first time.

Here we drive the development of tomorrow's products, processes, and technology – and we are now looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager who wants to lead both people and transformation.

About the role

As Maintenance Manager, you have overall responsibility for a business that is crucial to the factory's performance and future. You lead an experienced team and work both operationally and strategically to ensure high availability, robust processes, and a sustainable production environment. We are a strong team in Tuve; collaboration with all functions is a natural part of the work.

The role requires a leader who not only manages but actively drives change, develops working methods, and builds a strong maintenance culture.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and modernize the maintenance operations (~80 employees across up to 4 shifts)
  • Ensure high technical availability and operational reliability in production
  • Drive strategic improvement work within maintenance (e.g., TPM, predictive maintenance)
  • Be responsible for investments, investigations, and the introduction of new equipment
  • Have budget responsibility for the entire maintenance area, including spare parts and consumables
  • Act as a central collaboration partner to production, production engineering, logistics, and quality
  • Actively contribute to the factory's transformation towards future production systems

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who are a confident and experienced leader with a deep understanding of industrial maintenance and production environments.

You likely have:

  • At least 10 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance in manufacturing industry
  • Several years of experience leading larger organizations or complex teams
  • Documented experience in driving change and improvement initiatives
  • Strong ability to combine strategic thinking with operational execution
  • Experience with Lean, TPM, or similar methodologies
  • An academic degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, production, or similar

Your profile

  • You are a visible and coaching leader who engages and develops teams
  • You have high technical credibility and can challenge established working methods
  • You are structured and prioritize correctly in a complex and dynamic environment
  • You are communicative and build strong relationships across functions
  • You are driven by creating results through others – and seeing improvements realized

Why you should choose Volvo Tuve

  • A strategically important role in a factory where the future is shaped
  • Opportunity to influence both technology, working methods, and culture
  • Work in a global organization with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability
  • Leadership in a business with high competence and pride

Apply before June 30th and become part of our change journey.
