Job Description

Do you want to work with advanced electrical design at the forefront of vehicle development? We are now looking for an experienced Wire Harness Designer who wants to help develop the vehicles of the future together with our customers.

Here, you will have the opportunity to work in a technically challenging environment, close to both product development and production – in a team characterized by collaboration, drive, and a “can-do” attitude.

As a Wire Harness Designer, you will become a key player in a team responsible for electrical design within vehicles. You will work through the entire development chain – from concept to industrialization.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in the development of electrical systems and wire harnesses
• Develop technical solutions in line with customer requirements
• Drive and coordinate development activities together with internal experts and external partners
• Ensure technical dialogues with design, production, purchasing, and suppliers
• Contribute technical expertise and continuous competence development within the team
• Participate in improvement work related to working methods, innovation, and business development

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are an experienced designer with strong technical competence and the ability to take responsibility in complex projects.

We see that you have:

• A university degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar
• At least 8–10 years of experience in electrical design within the automotive industry
• Extensive experience in wire harness design, EDS, routing, and electrical system development
• Experience with tools such as Saber
• Experience working in 3D tools such as Creo or Catia
• Experience with vehicle configuration and specification
