Production Engineer at Metsä Tissue in Mariestad

We are now looking for an engaged and driven Production Engineer who wants to contribute to creating efficient, sustainable, and modern production solutions. In this role, you will become an important part of our operations where innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvements are in focus.

In this position, you report to the Production Manager, Converting.

Your main responsibilities

As a Production Engineer, you work close to production and have a central role in developing and optimizing our processes. You drive development forward by analyzing, challenging, and improving methods and flows. You understand and are interested in deepening your knowledge of technology, mechanics, and automation to define and improve production processes and flows.

Furthermore, you work to identify improvement opportunities and drive projects that strengthen both quality, productivity, and working environment. With your technical competence and engagement, you contribute to creating a production that is both efficient and future-proof. You get ample opportunity to influence and test new ideas.

Who are you?

• You have a university or university degree, or alternatively, work experience that the employer considers relevant for the position.
• Have experience in production development or process work.
• Are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented.
• Communicate well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

We are looking for you who are a curious and driven person with a genuine interest in improving and developing operations. You have an analytical ability that allows you to quickly grasp complex problems and find solutions that create real value. At the same time, you are unpretentious and enjoy working closely with both production colleagues and other functions, where you contribute energy and a positive approach.

You are structured in your work approach and have the ability to drive issues forward, even when conditions change. With your communication skills, you can explain ideas clearly and engagingly and create involvement in change work.
