Kura Omsorg is currently looking for several dedicated and caring temporary staff members who want to work as personal assistants in Örnsköldsvik. With us, you have the opportunity to work closely with people and make a real difference in their daily lives. As a personal assistant, you provide support in everything from daily routines to leisure activities – always with the goal that the person you work with can live as independent and meaningful a life as possible.

THE ROLE OF A PERSONAL ASSISTANT

As a personal assistant, you work in the user's home and support them with what is needed in everyday life. This can include personal care, help with meals, household chores, or accompanying them to activities and errands outside the home.

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in people and who thrive in a role where you can contribute with care, engagement, and security. You are perceptive, responsible, and flexible – and you find it easy to collaborate with both colleagues and clients.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and how well you match the people you work with. Experience in care or personal assistance is an advantage, but the most important thing is that you have the right attitude and willingness to do a good job.

Employment level: Temporary position (hourly)

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Kura Omsorg, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as the applicant, can present a valid ID document and submit a certificate of personal details (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal details from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order in good time.
