The Department of Psychiatry at Norrlands University Hospital in Umeå is the largest psychiatric department in Northern Sweden, with over 400 employees. We have three general psychiatric wards, forensic psychiatric services, and several specialized outpatient and treatment units.
We are now seeking a PTP Psychologist
The Anxiety and Trauma Clinic is a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic serving individuals between the ages of 18 and 60 who require psychiatric specialist care. The service is distinguished by high medical and psychotherapeutic competence.
The Anxiety/Trauma Clinic has a mandate for method development, diagnostics, and treatment for patients with anxiety disorders and trauma-related consequences of violence exposure. It also offers interventions for patients with comorbid developmental conditions and personality disorders.

As a PTP Psychologist with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.
Work at the treatment unit takes place in multidisciplinary teams, where medical, psychological, and social aspects of psychiatric illness are considered.
You support and develop people at all stages of life. You work both independently and in teams with assessment, investigation, and treatment under supervision.
The duties follow the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations on practical training for psychologists. You have a supervisor on-site and a well-functioning psychologist group. You participate in Region Västerbotten's PTP program with half-day meetings held either in Umeå or digitally. All meetings are mandatory and include theme days led by an experienced psychologist, study visits, or reviews of professional legal and ethical issues. In addition to competence development, you will have the opportunity to exchange experiences with other PTP psychologists.
A psychology degree is required prior to employment.

You have a good ethical approach, can work both independently and in a team, and have strong communication skills, both with colleagues and patients.
