Region Västerbotten – Psychiatric Clinic Southern Lapland
Region Västerbotten works to ensure that good health and sustainable development strengthen each other. We take responsibility for equal welfare and for ensuring that research and innovation yield results. As an employee in Region Västerbotten and Southern Lapland, you will have a job that challenges you and gives meaning to your daily life. Here, you can make a difference for others.
About the Operations
The Psychiatric Clinic Southern Lapland is an outpatient clinic covering all diagnostic groups. Inpatient beds are available in Skellefteå and Umeå. The department consists of approximately 45 employees, most of whom are based at Lycksele Hospital, though we also have staff in other locations in Southern Lapland. On the clinic, we work in cross-professional teams and frequently use digital communication tools.
You will meet patients who are in various life situations, and you will have the time to get to know them. The varied tasks will provide you with broad competence. Although we have long distances between our facilities, this does not prevent us from having close collaborations with short decision-making paths. We support and care for each other.
There is a sensitivity to each individual employee's engagement and driving forces. We value the importance of working both independently and collaboratively. In this way, you have the opportunity to grow in your role.
We are always moving forward here, and there are good opportunities to shape your own role and professional identity based on evidence.
We are now looking for you who want to help develop our working methods and ensure that we provide the right intervention to the right patient at the right time.

You are responsible for medication management, follow-up of pharmacological treatment, sample collection, and conversations based on the patient's needs. You provide somatic expertise and contribute a holistic perspective on the medical, somatic, social, and psychiatric areas.
Qualifications
For this job, you need to be a licensed nurse with an interest in psychiatry. If you are a specialist nurse in psychiatry or have previously worked in psychiatric outpatient and/or inpatient care, it is an advantage. You must have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
