ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Service Technician in Gas & Detection, you work on-site with customers performing service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of gas and detection systems. The role involves becoming a key technical specialist who ensures that customers' security systems function as intended.

You will primarily work with:

• Service and maintenance of gas and detection systems
• Troubleshooting and rectification of technical issues
• Replacement of filters and components in aspirating detection systems
• Control and verification of system functions
• Advising customers on operation and functionality
• Documentation and reporting of completed work

Initially, the focus is on service assignments, but for the right person, there are good opportunities to further develop into system design, project engineering, and specialist roles within the area in the long term.

You will preferably work from home and plan most of your working days yourself. Customer assignments are mainly located in the areas of Båstad, Helsingborg, Malmö, Kristianstad, Olofström, and Karlskrona and surroundings. The company also has offices throughout Skåne and Blekinge, including in Malmö, Helsingborg, Ystad, Hässleholm, Kristianstad, and Karlskrona.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for you who have experience from the fire and security industry or other technical service operations and who want to develop within Gas & Detection.

You could be:

• A Service Technician in fire alarms, security, or building technology
• A Fire Technician with experience in service and maintenance
• A trained Fire Engineer or with other relevant technical education

To succeed in the role, we believe you:

• Have technical understanding and interest in security systems
• Can perform service and troubleshooting independently
• Enjoy customer contact and creating long-term relationships
• Are solution-oriented and enjoy solving technical problems
• Want to develop within gas, detection, and security systems

Requirements for the role:

• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Basic knowledge of English

It is meritorious if you have knowledge of:

• Aspirating detection systems
• Gas systems and associated regulations
• Fire alarms or other security technical systems
