Mechanical Assemblers Wanted for Backup Power Plant Manufacturing

Are you a driven and meticulous mechanical assembler looking to work in a technical and varied environment?

Prowork is currently seeking mechanical assemblers for a varied role where mechanics and technology meet in the manufacturing and assembly of backup power plants. The position involves employment with Prowork and is a long-term assignment with the possibility of direct hire by the client.

Responsibilities:

• Mechanically assemble generator sets onto frame rails.
• Install fuel systems on the generator sets and fuel tanks.
• Install and assemble generator sets into containers, including ventilation, fuel, and exhaust systems.
• Equip fuel tanks with fittings and pump systems.
• Understand how the aforementioned systems function together.
• Possess a certain level of welding knowledge.
• Collaborate to ensure a good working and social environment.
• Assembly work at our clients' sites may occur. Overnight stays are common in connection with these assignments.

Background and Qualifications:

• Experience from machinery manufacturing and machine installation.
• Good knowledge of diesel engines.
• High general technical competence.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Valid Class B driver's license.
