Over the past year, ESAB Perstorp has expanded its production by manufacturing welding electrodes that are delivered to customers worldwide. We currently have around 230 employees and are facing exciting challenges ahead.

We are looking for a mechanic for our factory in Perstorp. You will be responsible for performing service and maintenance work, both corrective and preventive, troubleshooting, resolving issues, as well as carrying out repairs and modifications. We look for candidates with experience from workshop/industrial environments, assembly, and a genuine technical interest.

You will be part of a team responsible for the repair and maintenance of production machinery and peripheral equipment. We value that you are social and comfortable working both in a group and individually. You see problem-solving as a challenge and have a passion for technology. Flexibility and a sense of order are also important qualities.

To be considered for the position, you should have worked as a mechanic or service technician with similar tasks for a few years. The working hours are daytime or shift work.

Requirements for the position:

• Completed upper secondary education, preferably with a technical focus.
• Good computer skills.
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge and experience in welding.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Availability for shift work.

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
