Do you want to work with electrical maintenance in a complex, safety-focused industrial environment where your skills make a real difference every day?

To our maintenance department in Perstorp, we are now looking for an electrician with a focus on industrial maintenance. Here, you will become an important part of the maintenance organization at a chemical process industry where operational reliability, safety, and continuous improvement are at the center.

As an electrician, you report to the Maintenance Manager Electrical & Instrumentation and are part of an engaged team within electrical and instrumentation maintenance. The role is broad and varied, with tasks related to maintenance, projects, facilities, and improvement work in our process plants and support functions.

About the role

In this role, you work with both preventive and corrective electrical maintenance. You help ensure that our facilities operate safely, efficiently, and according to current requirements. Your daily work consists of planned tasks, urgent troubleshooting, installations, commissioning, and improvements related to both process and safety.

Your main responsibilities will include among other things:

• Coordinate, plan, prepare, and execute electrical maintenance within process plants.

• Work with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and urgent measures.

• Participate in commissioning, checkout, and control before startup.

• Participate in improvement work related to maintenance processes, instructions, operational reliability, and working environment.

• Support the preparation of cost estimates and, if necessary, plan purchases.

• Actively contribute to safety work with a focus on working environment, personal safety, and external environment.

• Document and follow up on work in our maintenance system SAP.

In addition, the role includes work with various types of PLCs and control systems.

The position includes on-call duties according to a schedule.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a high school education in electricity, or equivalent relevant work experience. You have several years of experience as an electrician, industrial electrician, or from work with industrial or facility maintenance.

To thrive in the role, we believe you are a person who works in a structured and methodical way, with a strong safety mindset and a good sense of order. You are meticulous, take responsibility, and think through the consequences before acting. At the same time, you are solution-oriented, proactive, and enjoy working closely with operations personnel, projects, contractors, and other professional groups.

We would like you to have experience or knowledge in one of the following:

• Industrial electrical installations and troubleshooting in process environments.

• Power distribution, electrical installation rules, and current standards.

• High-voltage installations.

• SSG, ESA, ATEX, or similar industrial requirements.

• SAP or other maintenance systems.

SAP experience is meritorious but not a requirement. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required for the position.

Employment conditions: The position is a permanent placement located in Perstorp. Working hours are during the day, and on-call duties are included according to the schedule.

Since Perstorp Specialty Chemicals has zero tolerance regarding alcohol and drug influence during working hours, alcohol and drug testing before employment is mandatory. Random tests may also occur during employment.

Start date: Ongoing as agreed.
