About the role

Academic Work is looking for you who want to develop in a role as a Project Engineer, where you support project managers in infrastructure projects. Your team is based in Örnsköldsvik, so it is desirable that you can work there 2–3 days a week. The remaining days are spent working from the office in Umeå. However, this is not a strict requirement, but rather a preference.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with all common project management tasks in terms of execution and documentation.
• Have a good understanding of the contract content for consulting assignments and contracts.
• Assist project managers with project follow-up regarding time, cost, quality, safety, working environment, and environment, as well as forecasting final costs.

We are looking for you who

• Have a technical university education of at least 180 ECTS credits, or alternatively other education and experience that we assess as relevant for the assignment.
• Have strong drive, as well as the willingness and ability to take own responsibility with a fearless attitude towards new tasks.
• Have very good computer skills and knowledge of the Office package.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing.
• Hold a valid B-class driver's license.

It is meritorious if you have experience from administrative or practical work within the construction and infrastructure industry, but this is not a requirement. We consider it meritorious if you live in or have a connection to Umeå/Örnsköldsvik, as the customer's need is immediate.
