Are you a service professional who wants to contribute to fantastic customer experiences? Are you also a master at inspiring and developing people? At #teamlidl, we help each other succeed. And we grow together. We are now looking for an engaged Sales Leader/Deputy Store Manager to join our team!

As a Sales Leader/Deputy Store Manager at Lidl, you are the store manager's right-hand person and have a key place in the store management team. You motivate and inspire the store team to reach their full potential every day and ensure that tasks are carried out efficiently, correctly, and on time. You naturally participate in daily store operations and work together with the team to provide our customers with the best possible store experience.

The role includes responsibilities such as:

  • Ensuring and delivering excellent customer service in the store
  • Supporting the store manager in daily operations and ensuring results are achieved by leading, motivating, and developing store staff, while participating in daily work as a role model
  • Ensuring the store meets our core pillars: customer friendliness, product availability, freshness, cleanliness, and profitability
  • Working goal-oriented with the store's key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Coordinating and organizing induction and further training for all store employees
  • Having overall responsibility for store operations when the store manager is not present

We are looking for someone with experience in leading and developing teams in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment. You have good problem-solving skills and are skilled at planning and delegating tasks. You are driven by a strong customer focus and always prioritize the customer experience. Exceeding set goals and maximizing productivity within your work and team is second nature to you. Furthermore, you are a good communicator and can develop the team and the store through feedback.

We also look for you to:

  • Have a completed upper secondary education or equivalent, preferably with a focus on commerce.
  • Fluently speak and write Swedish.

It is considered an advantage if you have previous experience working as a Deputy Store Manager, Store Manager, or Department Manager in the grocery retail sector or another service-oriented industry.

You will work in an environment characterized by our core values: performance, respect, trust, down-to-earth attitude, and community. Because we are growing, you can grow. Quickly. Within your role, or towards another. In the same location, or somewhere else. In the store, warehouse, or office. Locally, nationally, or globally. We support you on your journey towards more responsibility and new challenges. You become part of a large team where everyone rolls up their sleeves and helps each other out. You receive everything from wellness benefits, parental allowance supplements, and employee discounts in our stores to free counseling from psychologists, lawyers, and economists, as well as numerous offers via our benefits portal. Of course, you are also covered by collective agreements and a pension plan.

Do you want to be part of our journey?

Recruitment is conducted with continuous selection, so we would appreciate it if you sent your application as soon as possible. Our recruitment process consists of tests, telephone interview, personal interview, and digital reference checks. Please contact us if you have specific needs for accommodation regarding the selection tests.

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period. As the store is open every day of the week, work will be scheduled including early morning shifts, day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend shifts.

If you have questions about the position or the application process, please contact the recruitment team via email: [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]).

We look forward to receiving your application!
