Do you want to work with patients of all ages with eye conditions on a smaller ward? We offer a workplace with varied tasks and learning opportunities alongside colleagues who have the eye in focus.
About Us
We are a smaller ward caring for patients of all ages from one year and up. The ward has 16 inpatient beds in single rooms. We treat both surgical and medical patients in inpatient care. We have short care periods, fast flows, and varying levels of care intensity.
About the Position
The role involves standard duties for a nursing assistant on a ward. You will have varied tasks and be rotationally responsible for the patient kitchen, or work in a team together with nurses. Opportunities to work in the reception exist, and some rotation to the day surgery department may occur.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have some years of experience working as a nursing assistant. Good knowledge within nursing care, pre- and post-operative care, person-centered care, and venous blood sampling is required. Experience from working on a surgical ward is meritorious.
Personal Qualities
You are a positive and open person who is structured and meticulous in your work. As a person, you thrive with a varying work pace and enjoy working in teams. We see that you put the patient first and have the ability to work carefully and responsibly. We appreciate that you are engaged and see participation in the ward's improvement work as a matter of course, and are interested in driving improvement work within a specific area of responsibility together with colleagues.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Conditions
The position is a permanent full-time employment subject to agreement. A probationary period of six months may be applicable. A fixed rolling 8-week schedule with 1-2 weekends per 8 weeks. Start date by agreement.
Selection and interviews take place on an ongoing basis.
