We are a well-staffed clinic that is attractive for residents (ST-doctors), which means we expect to be fully staffed within a few years.

We are currently seeking a specialist physician in psychiatry for placement at our new digital clinic. The position is primarily linked to outpatient care, but as a doctor with us, you are employed at the Psychiatric Clinic at Mälarsjukhuset. This implies that inpatient work may occur if needed.

Your Responsibilities

The Digital Clinic

Initially, we will work with patients diagnosed with ADHD. These patients are stable and do not require specialist psychiatric care beyond follow-up regarding central stimulant medication. The clinic alternates follow-ups between specialist nurses and specialist physicians. To meet the needs of this patient group, we need to develop and differentiate our care.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with specialist competence in psychiatry, with a genuine interest in both patient work and collegial collaboration, and who wants to help drive the development of psychiatry forward. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are open to both development and change. We are looking for someone who is self-reliant, has good clinical judgment, and is secure in their professional role. Experience from both outpatient and inpatient care is meritorious but not a requirement. Experience with on-call duties and on-call competence is meritorious. To thrive in this role, you need good social competence and teamwork skills. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
