There is a lot happening in our organization. You will be a key player in the continued work of developing and designing nutrition routines, nutritional assessments, nutritional treatments, and prioritization orders. You will collaborate with and train healthcare colleagues, be a vital part of the teamwork on respective wards/clinics, participate in rounds, and serve as a support in nutritional matters to physicians and other healthcare staff.

About the Team

We are looking for a dietitian who wishes to become part of a curious, forward-looking dietitian group with a high level of engagement. We naturally welcome both experienced and newly graduated dietitians.

You will have your treatment room at the dietitian clinic together with 10 dietitian colleagues within specialist care at Nyköping Hospital. We are a mixed dietitian group with men and women of different ages and with varying experience, background, and competence. We share a manager and clinic with our colleague counselors.

You will have close collaboration with all dietitians in the region's primary and specialist care, totaling approximately 45 dietitian colleagues. There is always someone available to discuss with, both within and outside your treatment/diagnostic area. We have an explicit and functioning close collaboration with each other.

The primary care unit and the specialist care units, three units in total, each have their own dietitian manager with close collaboration, making us a strong dietitian organization. This implies the possibility to change your assignment over time.

Your Responsibilities

We are now looking for a dietitian for patients with various forms of oncological diseases. Patients are both in inpatient and outpatient care, and you will meet patients on the ward, at the clinic, digitally, and via telephone.

The role as a dietitian places high demands on good collaboration. You will participate in, among other things, rounds in inpatient care on the ward, teamwork for the outpatient clinic, and PPO. PPO stands for Paramedical Program Area, which is a business-related cross-professional network in the county that contributes to equal care for the patient, common guidelines, and uniform documentation supported by national guidelines and evidence. A way of working that is unique to Region Sörmland.

We are looking for you who are a registered dietitian and who are happy to share your knowledge and receive knowledge from your colleagues. The work with patients is independent, so we want you to be a fundamentally secure person who appreciates planning and structure in work.

We support each other and take patients in different areas when a colleague needs support or when there is high patient pressure.
