About Us

Do you want to work as a district physician at a health centre with stable medical staffing? Mariefred Health Centre is a well-established, region-driven health centre with just under 11,000 registered patients, located in the charming town of Mariefred.

We are approximately 45 employees working together to provide our patients with good care, focusing on the patient's best interests. Here, you will find a doctor's office, nurse's office, Child Health Centre (BVC), and rehabilitation services, including psychosocial care, all under one roof. The medical group currently consists of seven specialists in general practice, an internist who will become a double specialist, and four resident doctors (ST-läkare). Additionally, we continuously have interns (AT-läkare) placed with us. All patients have a fixed, named specialist or resident doctor. As a specialist, you have a limited caseload, and we are approaching the goal of 1,100 registered residents per doctor.

Our responsibilities include care for special housing and home care, as well as the Child Health Centre, so there is room for side assignments depending on your area of interest. With us, you will have a varied job where you meet healthcare seekers of all ages, with different backgrounds and varying degrees of need. The health centre has multiprofessional teams for all patients, and because we are located further from the hospital, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of medical issues.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the patients registered with you, thereby having a defined caseload. We have a joint daily responsibility for our acute flow as well as our own scheduled appointments. You collaborate with other professions at the health centre and also serve as a supervisor for resident and intern doctors. You are part of a medical group that together develops primary care with a focus on quality, continuity, accessibility, and attractiveness.

Certain on-call and standby duties at the primary care centre in Strängnäs are included.

Your Qualifications

• You are a licensed physician and specialist in general practice, or a physician with Swedish licensure after AT/BT, who has decided to pursue specialist training in general practice.
• You enjoy working independently with varied tasks.
• You have good collaboration skills and flexibility.
• You have experience working at a health centre and are interested in development.
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Employment Type
