About Us

Come and work with us in beautiful Sörmland and Katrineholm! Just an hour from Stockholm or Linköping, you find the best of both worlds. Here you have the charm of a small town and proximity to the offerings of a big city, with good commuting options.

In new, fresh premises just a stone's throw from Katrineholm center, you will find Nävertorp Health Centre. We consist of over 40 employees offering a breadth of experience, knowledge, engagement, and joy in work. With a focus on good patient relations, continuity, and accessibility, we meet the needs of our nearly 11,000 listed patients from the beginning of life to the end.

We offer you varied work where you meet patients of all ages and from different cultures. District doctors, training doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, biomedical analysts, medical secretaries, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and rehabilitation coordinators work here. We see teamwork and collaboration as important both within our own unit and with partners outside the health centre.

Your Responsibilities

We constantly strive for improvements and place great emphasis on creating a work environment that promotes a sustainable working life. Continuity is the core of our work. As a specialist in general practice, you have a clear assignment and are responsible for your own patient list. Since January this year, we have introduced Läkartele-Q, which means you receive, assess, respond to, and book appointments yourself. In this way, you have full control over your working day and schedule.

Our leadership is based on trust, and your participation and influence are very valuable to the operations. As a specialist doctor, you perform usual tasks at the health centre, including some on-call duties. We are also responsible for doctor participation in three of the municipality's special housing facilities and for patients in home care. In addition to physical meetings, there are digital contact channels via 1177 and Vårdkontakt directly. We are engaged in developing a good educational environment for all professional groups, where you have an important role as a mentor and guide for new colleagues. In a small town, you have good opportunities to both maintain and further develop your practical and theoretical knowledge, and you have a key role in the care chain – just as the general practitioner profession was intended from the start.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed doctor with specialist competence in general practice. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
