Eskilstuna Municipality's nursing organization consists of approximately 120 nurses. Within the on-call service, you will work across the entire area including Lagersbergsgården, Ekebo, Skogsgläntan, Marielund, Åbacken, Odlarbäcken, and short-term care at Rosenforsgården and Eskilshem.

We are seeking hourly substitutes for permanent positions on an as-needed basis. You will work evenings and weekends. We offer a preference schedule, meaning you have the opportunity to influence your working hours based on operational needs. Your base will be Åbacken Care and Nursing Home at Ådalsvägen 4 or Lagersbergsgården at Lagrådsgatan 64.

We have ongoing selection and interviews during June, July, and August.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse, you are responsible for ensuring that individuals receive safe and secure care, as well as the best possible health and well-being, in accordance with the municipality's health and medical care responsibilities. You identify and prevent risks in care and assess the user's need for health and medical care interventions. You lead the health and medical care work at the facility and collaborate with other professional groups, both within and outside the operation. Together, you work to meet the user's needs in the best possible way. The role also includes mentoring and delegating care tasks to staff in a clear and pedagogical manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a Swedish nursing license. You have worked as a nurse for a few years. A B-driver's license and driving experience are required as we use a car in the role. Good documentation habits are also a requirement. Experience working with the elderly is an advantage. It is also meritorious if you have worked with quality registers such as Senior Alert or the Palliative Register. If you have been involved in development work or have further education in a relevant area, it is a plus.

As a person, you are calm and feel confident in meeting staff, relatives, and users. Building new contacts, as the assignment involves both cooperation and collaboration with both internal and external contacts, comes naturally to you. You have a pedagogical approach and a good ability to structure and organize your work.

Working hours: Schedule. Evening Monday - Friday 15:00-21:00. Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) 14:30-21:00 (possibly 07:00 - 15:00)
