Your Role

We are looking for four Project Engineers for the Property Development department at Uppsalahem who want to contribute to the implementation of our larger maintenance and new production projects.

In this role, you will work closely with the project manager and the project team, with a primary focus on supporting monitoring and coordination of the project, for example within economics, administration, sustainability, and work environment. You play a central role in creating structure and good control in the projects.

As a Project Engineer, you are an operational support resource to the project manager throughout the entire project – from planning to completion and closure – and collaborate with both internal colleagues and external contractors and consultants.

You will belong to either the maintenance or new production unit and will therefore report to the respective manager.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the project manager and be an active part of the project team by participating in meetings, coordination, monitoring, and the daily work of the project.
• Compile, visualize, and follow up on economics, quality, time, and resources in the form of forecasts and reports in the respective assigned project.
• Participate in procurement work and prepare materials in collaboration with the project manager and the purchasing unit.
• Contribute to effective communication and coordination within the project.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university/college degree in construction, property, or similar, or equivalent experience.
• A valid driver's license (Category B).
• Very good knowledge of Swedish with the ability to express yourself well both verbally and in writing.

Additionally, if you have a few years of experience from the construction, contracting, or property industry in a coordinating or supporting role, it is considered an advantage.

We believe you are at the beginning of your career in the construction or property industry, with a desire to learn and develop in both the role of Project Engineer and in the industry. You have an interest in the different stages of the construction process and wish to gradually build your understanding of how projects are driven, while being curious about both technical issues and the project as a whole. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility for your tasks, and find it easy to collaborate with others.
