Vällingby Midwife Clinic is part of Midwife Clinics Stockholm North within SLSO (Stockholm County Council's Healthcare Services), which consists of 14 midwife clinics. We work patient-centered based on SLSO's value base "with the patient in focus, equal rights for all and joy in work". Vällingby Midwife Clinic is also part of a family center.

The goal of the work is to provide the right care with a clear focus on our mission in sexual and reproductive health, and to work in accordance with guidelines in our own operations and in collaboration and interaction with other healthcare providers. About the position:

The work involves standard tasks for a midwife at a midwife clinic. The assignment means that the midwife primarily cares for the woman, but in her professional practice, it also includes the child, the family, teenagers, young adults, and older women. The work at the clinic covers standard tasks such as pregnancy checks, parental support, cell tests, and visits both physical and digital related to Sexual and Reproductive Health.

About You:

• We are looking for you who are a registered midwife with prescribing rights
• Experience in maternal healthcare work and supervision training is meritorious
• Accustomed to working in the medical record systems Obstetrix and Take Care (meritorious if you have knowledge of the medical record system Cosmic)
• We are looking for you who are flexible and can work independently but also work together with other partners and colleagues
• We are looking for you who enjoy working result- and goal-oriented and perform tasks with quality and take measures where necessary
• The assignment also involves leading groups. You do not see this as an obstacle
• In all meetings, we see that you have a promoting and empathetic approach
• Great importance is attached to personal suitability

Employment:

Temporary position until the turn of the year with possible extension. Full-time. Start as soon as possible/according to agreement. Working hours Monday-Friday.

- Register control is applied before decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register control at employment.

- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.

- Requires, in addition to Swedish professional qualification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirements are guiding regarding non-qualified staff with patient contact.
