About the Role

As a developer at eComero, you work closely with clients and deliver digital solutions that actually work in reality – e-commerce, PIM, frontend, and apps, for companies with high demands. You are involved in the entire delivery process: from requirement gathering to code in production.

We work with a high AI adoption index – it's not just an ambition, it's our daily routine. You are expected to understand and use AI in your daily work. For the right person, there is an opportunity to grow into a team leader role.

What you will be working with

  • Development and leadership of digital solutions within e-commerce, PIM, frontend, and apps
  • Deliveries to major known retail and B2B customers who place high demands on us
  • Direct customer contact – you communicate, understand requirements, and steer towards goals
  • AI-driven development with modern tools in a high tempo
  • Collaboration with project managers, UX/design, and backend in close-knit customer teams

We are looking for you who

  • Have a university degree in technology, data, or equivalent
  • Have a few years of experience in professional software development
  • Have worked with or actively familiarized yourself with AI-driven development
  • Are social, communicative, and thrive with customer contact
  • Speak fluent Swedish in speech and writing
  • Want to work closely with senior, certified colleagues in a tight and knowledgeable team

The Practicalities

Office: Magasinsgatan 24, Gothenburg

Scope: Full-time · Permanent

Start date: To be determined

Colleagues: Tight team with senior e-commerce consultants

Your main responsibilities:

  • Together with your team – build and optimize e-commerce and PIM solutions
  • Integrate external systems and services to create seamless experiences
  • Responsible for performance, security, and scalability on our customers' platforms
  • Write and maintain clean and well-documented code using our AI tools
  • Collaborate with customers and your own team to ensure our services are effective and user-friendly
  • Perform testing and debugging to ensure our solutions are stable and high-performing

We are looking for you who:

  • Have at least 2 years of development experience, preferably with a focus on e-commerce
  • Have good knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, or PHP)
  • Experience with database management (SQL and/or NoSQL) and API integrations (REST, GraphQL)
  • Understand the importance of performance, security, and accessibility in the development process
  • Are solution-oriented and have an analytical mindset
  • Have experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD processes

Meritorious:

  • Experience working with cloud services (Verdane, Google Cloud, or Azure)
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, or similar
  • Knowledge in DevOps and infrastructure areas
