Do you have ideas for the future and are you driven by challenges? In Haninge, you will develop alongside secure colleagues who want to make a difference today. Currently, one of the most ambitious change processes in our municipality's history is underway. We are building a new city, approximately 20 minutes from the South. Join us on our journey.
Do you want to be part of our development journey to become an accessible, visible, and knowledge-based social services department with a preventive approach? At our Social Services Administration, you will contribute to future-proofing social services. We work based on the needs of our target groups within individual and family care and disability services, so that residents in Haninge can live independent lives. We focus on results and what creates value for those we serve. Welcome to us!
Welcome to develop with us
We are part of the Social Services Administration, which is now preparing to create the social services of the future. Since January 1, 2024, we have a target-group-adapted organization that supports a process-based working method. The administration's core operations are divided into two areas: individual and family care, and disability services. The Disability Services area is divided into three sections: Functional support (preventive and authority), Housing and health care, and Employment, home support, and support for children. The comprehensive responsibility of Disability Services, covering both authority functions and service providers, offers good synergies, shorter and simpler decision-making paths, and the ability to easily "pivot" based on the target group's needs.
Do you want to work in a dynamic and idea-rich environment where teamwork is in focus? The Housing and Health Care area is responsible for the operation of 23 LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) housing units under municipal management, as well as health and medical care interventions within the social board's area of responsibility. The Support and Health Team has medical responsibility for special housing and day activities according to LSS, as well as special housing within Social Psychiatry. The team consists of a manager, nurses, occupational therapists, and a physiotherapist. We are now looking for a sharp colleague with specialist training in psychiatry and LSS to join our team. Do you want to be part of our journey and take our operations to the next level?
Your assignment
The assignment involves responsibility for health and medical care interventions at LSS housing, day activities, and social psychiatry housing. You have great opportunities and at the same time a large responsibility to influence your own work towards this diverse target group. Tasks may include assessing health status, taking samples, administering injections, performing wound dressing, prescribing incontinence aids, inserting catheters, or managing medication. The tasks also include supervision and training of care staff in health and medical care issues.
As a person, you are responsible, self-reliant, and able to adapt your working method to the situation. You are committed to working with the target group and understand the importance of creating and maintaining good relationships with patients, relatives, and colleagues. You actively contribute to quality development in your area and collaborate with both healthcare actors within the region and other partners. We are currently undergoing a journey towards increased digitalization, so we see that you need to have digital competence and an interest in implementing new solutions.
In the coming years, we will also establish a crisis team for proactive work according to the new Social Services Act.
