Do you want to help develop the future of quality work within Swedish food production? We are now looking for an engaged and driven Quality Specialist for Scan Sweden in a key role with significant impact on our working methods, processes, and results. The position will be located at one of our larger sites, Kristianstad or Linköping.

What you will do

In the role of Quality Specialist, you will work both strategically and operationally with quality, food safety, and environmental issues from an overarching perspective. You will belong to the central quality organization and report to the Quality Director.

You will drive the development and improvement of processes, systems, and working methods throughout the entire operation. An important part of your assignment is to initiate and lead change work and ensure that we work according to current requirements and standards.

Your daily tasks include among other things:

• drive and implement improvement work within the quality area
• develop and manage management systems, routines, and follow-up & reporting tools
• conduct internal and external audits
• analyze and follow up on deviations and drive corrective actions
• produce analyses and result summaries and contribute to action plans
• support the organization with expertise in quality, food safety, and the environment

The role involves many contact surfaces and close collaboration with both production and other functions. Travel is also part of the job.

What you need to succeed and thrive

You have:

• a university degree in food science, such as Food Engineer, Food Agronomist, or equivalent
• experience in quality work, risk and hazard analysis, and quality management within manufacturing industry (preferably food)
• experience with audits and improvement work
• good analytical skills and experience working with data
• good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
