About Lasia

At Lasia, we believe in workplaces where people feel safe, valued, and treated fairly. Since 1987, we have developed smart systems that make it easy for employers to take responsibility for their staff and comply with the Employment Protection Act. Our goal is always clear: to contribute to a more fair labor law environment in Sweden. We have approximately 240 of the country's municipalities as customers, as well as some municipal companies and regions.

Lasia is an employer with long experience and extensive knowledge, where new ideas, improvements, and development constantly drive us forward. Here, 37 engaged employees work together, believing in making the journey together. This is evident in a work climate where people support each other, take responsibility, and help solve what is important. Our daily work consists of both focus and collaboration, with trust and care as natural parts.

The new Lasia platform has been launched and the first customers are on board. We are now looking for a Senior System Developer who wants to be part of the next phase. This involves further developing the platform, driving the migration from the WinLas system, and increasing the team's overall delivery capability. This is a technically ambitious role for someone who wants to make a real difference.

About the Role

As a Senior System Developer at Lasia, you work in a team with high domain knowledge and high demands for correctness. Our platform handles labor law calculations that affect real employment. This is not a context where inaccuracies are acceptable, which places demands on how we test, design, and reason about code.

Here, you work in a relatively new codebase built on .NET and React, deployed in Kubernetes. TDD and BDD are working methods we live by, not just talk about. We have come far, but there is more to do, especially regarding continuous delivery and domain modeling. We hope you can contribute with experience and help drive us forward.

In practice, this means that you:

  • actively contribute to the further development of the Lasia platform in .NET and React
  • participate in the migration work from WinLas to Lasia – a concrete and technically demanding task
  • write tests that actually ensure correctness – TDD and BDD are your natural working methods
  • are involved early in the requirements process and contribute to clear, testable specifications
  • reason about architecture and domain modeling – and contribute to clear boundaries in the system
  • drive continuous delivery from "conditions are met" to actual delivery

Who We Are Looking For

We believe you are a developer who thinks broadly and does not just see the code in front of you. The system, the domain, and the consequences are important parts. You pause and ask "why" before you start coding. You take ownership, deliver what you commit to, and are happy to share what you know.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • at least 5 years of documented experience as a system developer in a professional environment
  • deep knowledge of the .NET ecosystem – you are comfortable and move freely in the stack
  • practical experience with TDD and BDD as actual working methods
  • understanding and practical experience of DDD, not just in theory
  • experience with modern infrastructure: Docker, CI/CD
  • ability to communicate clearly – with both developers and non-technical colleagues
  • fluent Swedish in speech and writing

It is also meritorious if you have:

  • post-secondary education in system development
  • experience handling large amounts of data
  • experience from legaltech, regtech, fintech, the public sector, or another domain with high correctness and security requirements
  • experience with GDPR, NIS2, or WCAG in a software context
  • experience working efficiently with AI support in the development process – GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar

Why Lasia?

We are building something we are proud of, and we do it together. At Lasia, there is a culture where curiosity, care, and collaboration are not just words on a wall but something felt in everyday life. You step into a technically well-built environment with engaged colleagues, a clear direction, and a product that is already making a difference.

We believe different perspectives make us better

Therefore, we welcome applicants with different backgrounds, experiences, and identities. At Lasia, there is a diversity in age, life situation, and path into working life, which we see as a strength.

Location and Flexibility

The position is located in Falköping and is full-time. We offer flexibility and the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week.

Welcome with your application

We work with ongoing selection and interviews. We want to give all candidates the same opportunity to show what is most relevant for the role. Therefore, we use a CV-free application process where you instead answer a few questions about your experience and background.

The recruitment is carried out in collaboration with Ants. If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact the responsible recruiter, Emelie Stjärnås, at [email protected].
