The Role of Occupational Therapist with us

As an occupational therapist in home care in Kungsbacka, you work to strengthen the individual's independence and quality of life at home. You meet people in different life situations and contribute to security, continuity, and a functioning everyday life. The work is independent and varied, while you are part of close teamwork with physiotherapists, nurses, and other professions.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Assessment of functional ability and needs in everyday life
• Planning and implementation of individual interventions and training
• Supervision of care staff
• Prescription of assistive devices and adaptation of the home environment
• Collaboration in a cross-professional team to create safe and cohesive care

In the role of patient-responsible occupational therapist, you are responsible for standard occupational therapy interventions within home care. You are responsible for patients in a geographical area who live both in ordinary housing and in our care and nursing homes. You work closely together with the physiotherapist in the team where you jointly drive rehabilitation forward. The role also involves actively contributing to the team's development and a way of working characterized by collaboration and learning.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in people and a professional approach in all situations. You are sensitive to the individual's needs and show care and respect in your work. As an occupational therapist with us, you take great responsibility, and we therefore see that you are secure in your professional role, goal-oriented, and have the ability to reprioritize when the workday requires it.

You are flexible and have an easy time adapting to different tasks and collaboration situations. We value that you take initiative, contribute to development, and see opportunities in everyday life. Working in a team is a matter of course for you, and you have good ability to communicate and collaborate with other professions. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

We are looking for you who:

• are a licensed occupational therapist
• hold a B driver's license

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a permanent full-time position with start date according to agreement. Your working hours are scheduled Monday-Friday daytime. We apply flexible working hours agreements.
