Tre Kronor Dental Care is located in central Halmstad and is a dental clinic with three treatment rooms. Erik has been the operations manager since 2023; previously, he was one of the operations managers at Tandvården Skeppsbron in Malmö. We strive to provide modern, high-quality dental care with a sustainable environmental focus. We are looking for you who want to help develop and refine the clinic together with the team. At the clinic, we perform all types of treatments, and as a dental nurse, you will work with delegated tasks and have good opportunities for further education. We have clear tasks and roles within the team. Currently, an operating dentist, two dental nurses, and two dental hygienists (part-time) work here. The clinic aims for a scheduling system where you, together with the other dental nurses, always open and close the clinic together, to avoid working alone as much as possible.

Job Description

We are looking for a dental nurse who can work at least 24 hours per week. We aim to work overlapping in two treatment rooms, with one dental nurse per room. Daily tasks include sterile work and assisting the dentist in general dentistry, including dentoalveolar and implant surgery. Additionally, the role involves independent clinical delegated work and delegated administration. Clinical delegated tasks include intraoral scanning, photography, infiltration anesthesia, X-rays, depuration, prophylaxis, and the fabrication of provisional crowns and bridges. If you lack training in any of the above, we will arrange for training or experience in these areas. Most importantly, we value independent thinking and a desire for further development. Working hours are agreed upon but are based on the dentist's scheduled patient time, which is approximately 32 hours per week. The current schedule with booked patients is Monday 08:40–16:00, Tuesday and Wednesday 08:40–15:30, Thursday 12:10–17:40, and Friday 07:30–14:30. Remaining time is used for administration, planning, setup, closing, etc.

Qualifications

Education as a dental nurse is desirable but not mandatory. We place particular emphasis on personal suitability. Experience in healthcare professions is advantageous, as is previous experience working at Praktikertjänst AB, in surgery, oral prosthetics, or other delegated dental work. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.

Other Information

Working hours and salary are negotiable. The position is initially intended as a temporary role, but there is an opportunity for a permanent position. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis. The position may be filled before the application deadline.
