Are you a licensed physician looking to develop within primary care? At Onsala Health Centre, we are now looking for an engaged and responsible physician to strengthen our team. Here, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop in your role.

About the role

As a specialist trainee (ST-läkare), you will follow your training plan. We offer a supportive learning environment with continuous supervision on your path to specialist competence. During the first year, you will work at the health centre, and during the following four years, your work will alternate between the health centre and rotations at specialist clinics.

In addition to mandatory ST courses, you are offered excellent development opportunities with continuous internal and external education, based on your interests and the needs of the operations. Furthermore, we expect you to be involved in improvement work and operational development.

You will be assigned your own limited patient list, which will be expanded during your specialist training.

About us

Onsala Health Centre, located about 10 km from the city centre of Kungsbacka, is a pleasant and well-established health centre with approximately 10,200 registered patients. We are a team of about 45 employees dedicated to providing high-quality care with the patient in focus. The health centre is also responsible for three nursing homes. Good service is important to us, and we value a good working environment and high job satisfaction!

Together, we are the obvious choice for our residents when they need primary care.

In addition to providing high-quality care, we also offer health-promoting and disease-preventive care. The health centre operates a laboratory, Child Health Centre (BVC), district nurse clinic, as well as specialist clinics for asthma/COPD and diabetes. We also have a rehabilitation team at Onsala Health Centre.

Competence development is important to us, and collegial dialogue is highly prioritized through regular doctor meetings and scheduled development time. The physicians at the unit also have several side assignments.

Pharmacy and dental care are also located in the same building.

You can easily reach us by car or via public transport, and there is free parking available.

About you

You are a licensed physician eligible to work in Swedish healthcare. To be considered for a specialist training position (ST) in general practice, you must have completed basic training (BT), or previously completed general practice training (AT) under the older regulations. Proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement. Experience from primary care is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who wants to develop primary care together with us. You are curious and responsive to patients' needs and are a communicative person. Good teamwork skills are valued, as is the ability to work independently.

Personal suitability will be given great weight.
