The Role of Nursing Assistant with Us

Working as a nursing assistant in home care involves a high degree of independence and personal responsibility, while collaborating closely with colleagues – always with the care recipient's best interests in focus. You meet people with varying needs and work in their home environment, where you create security and continuity. The role includes practical tasks such as personal care, meal support, and motivating individuals to participate in various activities. The work is varied and requires that you thrive with a flexible pace.

You will drive a car as part of the job, and you will work according to a schedule that is set for every weekend. You will have the opportunity to perform health and medical care tasks after instruction and delegation from a nurse, as well as digital documentation.

You love working with people, you are a joy-bringer who gives energy to your care recipients and colleagues. You contribute to the experience of security by taking responsibility for tasks and providing reliable and professional treatment. As a person, you thrive working independently, can adapt to changing circumstances, and see opportunities in everyday life. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained or studying nursing assistant
• expresses themselves well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as this is required in daily work

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a permanent employment where the weekend assignment is time-limited for six months with a chance of extension. The employment rate is 71 or 85 percent with a schedule set for Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday only, plus time for workplace meetings (APT).

Before an employment offer is made, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented. The type of record extract to be requested is Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities. Background checks may be conducted prior to employment.

As of July 1, 2023, 'nursing assistant' is a protected professional title.
