We are currently looking for a nurse/psychiatric nurse for a temporary position at our Adult Psychiatry Clinic in Falkenberg. Here you will find a moderately sized clinic where we work closely together to provide our patients with the care and support they need during difficult times.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse here, you will work closely with colleagues in interdisciplinary teams, where various competencies collaborate to meet the patients' needs. Your tasks include counseling, telephone advice, medication management, and assessments. The work is primarily conducted at the clinic, but home visits may occur. You will become part of a competent nursing group and receive regular supervision.

You will work daytime hours, Monday to Friday, and always have the support of a team with broad expertise in psychiatric specialist care.

About the Workplace

The Adult Psychiatry Clinic (VPM) in Falkenberg is a psychiatric specialist clinic with approximately 30 employees. The clinic is unique in Halland by offering rTMS, a form of antidepressant treatment. Here, we work in interdisciplinary teams where different professional groups—doctors, psychologists, social workers, nurses, occupational therapists, and medical secretaries—collaborate to provide qualified psychiatric care. We have close cooperation with both inpatient care and primary care.

The target group consists of individuals over 18 years old with severe depression and anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, psychotic disorders, and suicidality.

Our clinic is conveniently located at a short distance from the train station, making it easy for you to commute.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. If you have specialized education in psychiatry, this is considered an advantage, as is experience working as a nurse in psychiatric care.

As a person, you contribute to good collaboration through strong commitment and good communication. You have a positive attitude and enjoy sharing your knowledge. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
