Job Description
As a Partnerships Salesperson at Kalmar FF, you will have clear business responsibility where your ability to build relationships, drive business, and deliver results is central. You work proactively to identify and establish new partnerships, while simultaneously developing and nurturing existing relationships – with the goal of creating long-term value for both partners and the club. The role involves owning the entire sales process – from prospecting and initial contact to negotiation and closing. You are motivated by creating new business, take personal responsibility for your results, and have the endurance to drive dialogues forward, even when the path to a deal requires time and engagement. You are a natural relationship builder who thrives in networking contexts and actively contributes to developing Kalmar FF's business network – both regionally and nationally. The work also includes planning and participating in partner meetings and networking activities where you represent the club and strengthen its position in the business community. As part of the commercial team, you are expected to work structured and methodical with your pipeline, follow-up, and budget, while also contributing to the development of Kalmar FF's commercial offerings. You collaborate closely with colleagues within the organization, where the interplay between sport, communication, and events is crucial for creating attractive and relevant partner solutions. The role requires both business acumen and a lack of pretension – you are willing to contribute where needed and have a good understanding of what it means to work in a club-driven operation. Your contribution is directly linked to Kalmar FF's strategic development. You drive the work towards an increased number of partners, strengthened partner revenues, and an active, well-filled business pipeline. Through your work, you also contribute to strengthening engagement around the club, with the goal of developing both ticket sales and the membership base, where the commercial work is an important part of the whole. The position is full-time with placement in Kalmar. You report to the Club Manager.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a business-driven relationship builder with a clear focus on results. You have documented experience of sales with good results and thrive in a role where you drive your business all the way – from initial contact to closing. Creating new business opportunities motivates you, and you have both the endurance and the will to continue driving dialogues forward, even when it takes several steps to reach a deal. We believe that you are structured and work methodically with your pipeline, while also having high self-drive and taking full responsibility for your results. You inspire trust in your contacts, have good social skills, and collaborate naturally with others – always with a non-pretentious attitude and a team focus. You thrive in a flexible environment where sometimes it is required to roll up your sleeves and contribute where needed. You have a good understanding of what it means to work in a club and appreciate the combination of business acumen, networking, and community engagement. It is meritorious if you have experience of sponsorship or partnership sales, as well as if you have an established network in the Kalmar region's business community. Experience from sports, events, or membership organizations is also seen as a plus. We would like you to share Kalmar FF's values and be motivated by being part of an organization with strong local anchoring and clear ambitions – where business and engagement go hand in hand.
