The company originated from Svensk Tryckgjutning, founded in 1967, and became part of the international industrial group Teknia Group through an acquisition in 2023. In connection with this, the business changed its name to Teknia Vimmerby AB.
As part of Teknia Group, the company is now part of an international group that is heavily weighted towards components for various parts within the automotive industry.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
As a Salesperson / Account Manager, you are responsible for Teknia Vimmerby's sales and business development. You work with both existing customers and new customer acquisition, with a focus on developing long-term customer relationships and creating profitable business.
The role involves close collaboration with both customers and internal functions, and you are responsible for driving business from inquiry to finished quote. You are part of the management team, report to the site manager in Vimmerby, and collaborate closely with the group's Commercial Office.
Travel occurs regularly within Sweden and Europe, primarily to Germany, and the role involves ongoing customer visits to both existing and new customers.
Examples of Job Duties
- Responsible for the company's sales and business development
- Drive new customer acquisition and develop existing customer relationships
- Responsible for quoting, calculations, and business assessments
- Participate in RFQ processes, feasibility assessments, and risk analyses
- Ensure handling of customer requirements, CSR, and customer communication
- Follow up on business, customer satisfaction, and deviations
- Conduct customer visits and represent the company in the market
- Contribute to the development of sales and customer processes
- Be part of the management team and participate in work related to APQP and product safety
Your Profile

You work in a structured manner, have an analytical approach, and thrive in a role where you combine business development with customer contact. As a person, you are communicative, responsive, and professional, with the ability to build trust and understand both the customer's needs and the company's prerequisites. Requirements
- High school diploma
- Documented experience of B2B sales within the Automotive industry or from the supplier side to the Automotive industry
- Good knowledge of sales and negotiation methodology
- Experience with quoting, calculations, and business assessments
- Good technical understanding and ability to interpret drawings and specifications
- Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
- Very good English in speech and writing
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
