RESPONSIBILITIES

You create value through smart, sustainable, and cost-effective supplier relationships. With your communication skills and drive, you contribute to efficient and value-creating work.

As a Purchaser at Be-Ge Seating, you play a central role in ensuring that our products maintain high quality, while driving and developing purchasing work with a special focus on the supplier base, negotiation, and cost optimization. You are responsible for developing and optimizing the supplier base and driving purchasing processes that contribute directly to the company's strategic goals. The role involves close collaboration with internal functions, customers, and suppliers.

Your overall responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for purchasing materials and components, ensuring timely deliveries, correct quality, and cost efficiency
• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers in line with the company's requirements and goals
• Negotiate agreements and terms with suppliers
• Participate in and drive improvement work related to purchasing processes and cost efficiency
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, R&D, and quality to optimize business and product
• Ensure that purchasing is conducted in accordance with applicable laws, requirements, and sustainability goals
• Participate in projects related to new products and changes in the existing range
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers

PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

You have a post-secondary education, preferably in purchasing or logistics. In addition to your education, you have experience of purchasing within the manufacturing industry, preferably with a connection to the automotive industry, and have a good understanding of the entire production flow. You are accustomed to working in a project format. You are used to working in business systems and have a good understanding of purchasing processes.

In the role, you are an important link between suppliers and internal functions. Through clear communication and good business understanding, you drive the work forward and create value for the business. You have a holistic perspective and work proactively to identify improvement opportunities and handle challenges.

As a person, you are structured, analytical, and solution-oriented. You have strong personal drive and take responsibility for your tasks from start to finish. You enjoy collaborating and see the value in building long-term relationships, both internally and externally.

It is meritorious if you have previous experience with business systems such as Monitor, as well as knowledge in negotiation and supplier development. You are fluent in Swedish and English and have a valid driver's license (Category B).
