About the role
We are looking for you with previous experience in the grocery industry who wants to help create the best store experience while aiming to continuously develop within the store.
Joining ICA means becoming an important part of our team. What matters most to us is your engagement and passion, your willingness to learn, and your enjoyment of meeting people. You are motivated by developing through personal commitment and drive.
As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to take on more responsibility, develop your leadership skills, and learn more about the store as a whole – from operations and customer interactions to sales, planning, and personnel management. You will work closely with the store management and receive support in shaping your own development plan with the goal of taking the next step within the ICA family.
We offer you not just a job, but a chance to grow. You will have the opportunity to develop within different parts of the store, take on more responsibility over time, and perhaps eventually grow into a leadership role or specialize in areas such as fresh food, checkout, or e-commerce. Your goal is to one day become a store manager or independent retailer.
What we are looking for
You are service-oriented, responsible, and curious. You like having many things going on, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to make a difference for both customers and the team.
You have previous experience from a grocery store and feel it is time to take the next step. You want to build on your experience and develop towards a future role as a store manager or a long and exciting career within ICA. Opportunities to participate in internal training and development programs may be offered.
We are looking for someone who already knows ICA's values and daily store life – and who now wants to use that experience to take greater responsibility. You have a natural commitment to the customer experience, enjoy leading others, and thrive on driving results.
Your tasks
Your areas of responsibility may include, among other things:
Your qualities and qualifications
We are looking for you who are organized and result-oriented and have a great interest in sales. You have previous knowledge of economics, store management, and inventory control. It is important that you have a positive attitude and thrive working in a fast-paced environment. As a leader, you are structured, communicative, and goal-oriented. You have experience working with budgets and goal follow-up. You are creative and dare to test new things to constantly improve and develop both yourself and the store.
You have documented previous experience from the grocery industry, preferably within ICA. You are familiar with systems such as AOB, Min Butik, EasyDisplay, or similar. You see your future in the store. You have good physical fitness and are driven by sales. You have previous leadership experience. You play an incredibly important role in creating a positive work environment and a successful, sales-driven store. To achieve our goals, both experience and an understanding of our processes and store objectives are required.
