Home Care Center 1 (Lindgården) is now looking for an engaged assistant nurse who, together with the night team, wants to continue contributing to high-quality home care.

Home care is currently divided into 12 home care groups across Vänersborg. The night shift is distributed across the municipality in four groups, and each night group works in a specific geographical area. Since February 2026, the team departs together from Lindgården, but in individual cars. Staff meet up together where there is a need for two personnel. You will also be responsible for security alarms.

This is a combined position, where you will have your primary employment at Center 1 and perform approximately half of your working hours in the Vargön night group.

Your work schedule is planned continuously with 8-week intervals. For a sustainable working life, you can influence your schedule through preferences. You are entitled to 11 hours of night rest in the schedule.

Job Responsibilities

As an assistant nurse in home care, you are part of the daily work at the unit. You work based on the Social Services Act Chapter 4, Section 1, and our goal is to strengthen or provide opportunities for the user to live an independent life. The tasks are varied and can be complex depending on the user's needs. As an assistant nurse in home care, you perform standard tasks within care and nursing.

You will work closely with the user on care tasks and be a support in daily life. Our mission is to strengthen the user's opportunities to live an independent life based on their own resources, abilities, and needs, while safeguarding the intentions of our value base. Your role also includes performing delegated health and medical care tasks and contributing to the development of the operations.

We work in various digital systems to facilitate and ensure good quality in the tasks.

Our planning and documentation system is LifeCare Planning and LifeCare Mobile Care (LMO). We use MCSS for signing certain delegated HSL tasks, as well as digital locks and medicine cabinets in the users' homes.

Since we work in ordinary housing, you may work in homes with fur-bearing animals and smoking.

Qualifications

You should have a positive view of humanity, be calm and self-assured, and have a good ability to work both independently and in a team. You should also be able to build relationships with other people, be flexible, have good interpersonal skills, be easy to cooperate with, and be sensitive to the care recipient's needs. You must be able to speak and write Swedish fluently and have basic technical knowledge, such as handling mobile phones, apps, and computers. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You have studied the Care and Nursing Program, and we would appreciate it if you have several years of experience in similar tasks.

Upon employment, you will need to provide proof of the right to use the professional title "Assistant Nurse".

A Category B driver's license is required.
