Do you want to help shape the crucial middle school years for students? We are now recruiting teachers for grades 4–6. As a teacher for grades 4–6, you guide students further in their learning journey, strengthen their self-confidence, and encourage them to discover new interests and abilities. Together with engaged colleagues, you create a safe and inspiring school environment where every student has the opportunity to grow – both academically and personally.
YOUR ROLE
As a teacher in grades 4–6, you plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching in your subjects. You help students build on basic skills in subjects such as Swedish, mathematics, and English, while developing their curiosity and ability to think independently.
You are a clear leader who creates structure and security in the classroom, but also an inspirer who makes learning both meaningful and fun. A key part of the role is collaboration with colleagues, students, and guardians, where you together create the best conditions for students' development.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
We are looking for you who have a teaching license with eligibility to teach in grades 4-6. Even if you are at the end of your education and waiting for your license, you are welcome to apply.
To thrive in this role, you need the ability to engage and inspire your students, while being a secure and clear leader. You value collaboration and see the value in developing the operation together with others.
For this position, you are required by law to present a current extract from the Swedish Police Authority's register before any potential employment. This applies to the extract "Work in school or preschool". You are responsible for ordering the correct extract via polisen.se.
Skellefteå Municipality is part of the Finnish and Sami administrative area. Language skills in Finnish and Sami, as well as cultural competence in these areas, are therefore meritorious.
