We are now looking for service-oriented temporary staff for the Service Department within local cleaning, kitchen, and internal services.

With us, you will have a varied and meaningful job where you contribute to a pleasant, well-functioning, and safe environment for children, students, employees, and visitors in the municipality. You will become part of a team where collaboration, joy of work, and service are at the center.

The Service Department belongs to the Technical Administration and is responsible for, among other things, meal services, local cleaning, internal services, and vehicle coordination.

As a temporary staff member, you register your own availability in our staffing system and can be booked for shifts with short notice, which is perfect for you who want freedom and variation in your work.

Job Responsibilities

The work may involve both independent tasks and working together with colleagues. Depending on needs and your competence, you can work in one or more of the following areas:

Local Cleaning

• Cleaning of schools, preschools, and operational premises.
• Contribute to a clean and pleasant environment.
• Follow and document self-inspections.

Kitchen (Cook/Kitchen Assistant)

• Food preparation as well as preparation and serving of meals.
• Dishwashing, cleaning, and self-inspections.
• Handling of special diets and work in the kitchen.

Internal Services

• Services in the municipal building, for example, handling of meeting rooms, orders, and catering.
• Supervision of coffee stations, pantries, and common areas.
• Mail, goods receiving, and simpler caretaker tasks.

You will have the opportunity to work in different operations, develop your experience, and make new contacts. At the same time, you will become an important part of the operation where your contribution makes a difference every day.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have experience from local cleaning, kitchen, or service, or relevant education.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Have basic IT skills.
• Are flexible and can adapt to different workplaces and tasks.

It is meritorious if you have, for example, knowledge of food hygiene, floor care, or experience from large kitchens. To get to the different workplaces, sometimes with short notice, a B-driving license is a great advantage.

Employment Information

• Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
