We are now looking for two dedicated and service-oriented employees to join our team in Karlstad – with onboarding in August.

At Zest, we want to make Karlstad even better, happier, and healthier with food cooked from scratch, genuine service, and a warm atmosphere.

We are looking for you who have experience from the café or restaurant industry, who thrive in a fast-paced environment with great responsibility and close teamwork. We value competence, experience, and professional pride highly. At the same time, the right energy, engagement, and desire to develop are just as important.

RESTAURANT ASSISTANT
Extra staff / e.g., every other weekend

Responsibilities:

• Kitchen work and food preparation
• Checkout and sales
• Barista duties
• Setup and serving
• Cleaning and dishwashing
• Goods receiving / Inventory / Orders
• Introducing new employees

Qualifications:

• Experience in restaurant/café
• Interest and engagement in our concept
• Enjoy high tempo, have good physical fitness, and are a good team player
• Work in a structured, efficient, and meticulous manner with good order
• Solution-oriented, flexible, and responsible
• Positive, energetic, and passionate about service and customer contact
• Available to step in on short notice
• Intend to work with us for at least one year

RESTAURANT COORDINATOR
Approx. 75% or according to agreement

Responsibilities:

• Regular restaurant tasks (see Restaurant Assistant) requiring efficiency and accuracy
• As an operational team leader with the ability to see the big picture: create and implement routines and build a positive spirit
• Train new employees, inspire, and coach your staff
• Further develop the concept

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of food hygiene
• Experience and preferably education within the industry
• Ability to organize orders
• Experience in a leadership role, enjoy responsibility and finding solutions
• Intend to work with us for at least two years
• Interest and engagement in our concept
• Enjoy high tempo, have good physical fitness, and are a good team player
• Work in a structured, efficient, and meticulous manner with good order
• Positive, energetic, and passionate about service and customer contact
