Welcome to a new future at Riksbyggen!

As one of Sweden's largest players in both housing development and property management, we serve housing cooperatives, businesses, and public property owners. Regardless of your interests or goals, you are always welcome with us.

We are now looking for a Property Caretaker in Östersund

As a Property Caretaker at Riksbyggen, you will be one of those working closest to the customer. This means, among other things, that you will be responsible for receiving and quickly handling any requests and fault reports from customers. The work is varied and social.

Make a difference with us

As a Property Caretaker, you are responsible for the interior and exterior maintenance of our customers' properties, and you become part of a team that handles daily management. Duties include, among other things, gardening, property repairs, customer contact, purchasing materials, and maintenance of machinery and hand tools. You will work both independently and together with your colleagues, and you will have great freedom to solve the challenges you face in your work on your own.

The position of Property Caretaker is a varied and free job under your own responsibility. Your daily work includes, among other things:

  • Standard corrective maintenance after fault reports
  • Troubleshooting
  • Handling daily customer contacts

You use your mobile phone or computer to receive and report on your work. You will work both independently and together with your colleagues, and you are expected to solve the challenges you face in your work on your own. You plan your working day yourself together with your colleagues and your group manager. The position includes snow readiness duties.

You contribute with your competence and commitment

We are looking for someone who has the ability to see and meet our customers' needs, is curious, unpretentious, helpful, and wants to be part of creating a good living environment. We want you to be a team player who stands up for your colleagues. You should have a positive attitude towards your work, our customers, and your coworkers. It is also important that you are service-oriented, quality-conscious, and have the ability to organize your work in an efficient manner.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has a high school education and/or vocational training, preferably with a focus on property maintenance/operations/management or equivalent relevant work experience
  • has experience in property maintenance/outdoor environments
  • is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • has a Category B driver's license for manual transmission

It is an advantage if you have experience from craft trades such as electrical work and/or plumbing.

Since computers and mobile phones are a natural part of the work for all employees at Riksbyggen, we would appreciate it if you have computer skills and can handle computers and mobile phones at work. You will also be given the opportunity to develop your skills through internal training.
