Gruvrisgården Special Housing consists of a wonderful team, and we are now looking for new colleagues!

Gruvrisgården is located at the top of Galgberget and we have 23 apartments. The apartments are distributed across two departments on two different floors, both focused on high-level care. Our work group includes care assistants, nursing assistants, group leaders, and unit managers. Together with healthcare professionals, we are a great team where we help and learn from each other, all to provide the customer with the best possible care and support. Customer satisfaction is important to us!

The work of the Care Administration is based on a common value base where security is a central concept in the work with the individual customer. In every meeting with the individual, the activities of the Care Administration should be characterized by good treatment that ensures respect, integrity, self-determination, continuity, and influence for the individual. Within Falu Municipality, we have reduced working hours for nursing assistants/care assistants, which means that you will work 36 hours/week at full-time equivalent.

Job Responsibilities

Working in special housing gives you a concrete opportunity to make a difference in someone's life. The tasks include providing good care and service to our customers. Our customers' needs determine our tasks and may include assisting with personal care, support during meals, service tasks, and social activities. The work involves motivating, supporting, and helping the customer in all daily situations as needed.

Our mission is to work according to the customer's implementation plan. The implementation plan describes the intervention and how the customer wishes to have the interventions performed; the implementation plan is a tool in the work. The work also includes some administrative tasks, meaning you must be able to document according to given guidelines and take responsibility for following up on tasks handed over by other colleagues, the unit manager, or professionals such as nurses, occupational therapists, or physiotherapists. The work can be both physically and mentally demanding.

Qualifications

Requirements for the role:

• Three-year upper secondary school nursing program or other education/experience assessed by the employer as equivalent
• Previous experience working in healthcare and social care
• Experience using computers and mobile phones in work
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Previous experience with dispensing medication and insulin

Personal Qualities

We are looking for you who have a great interest and commitment to working with people! You need to be stress-resistant, flexible, and have good teamwork skills.

• Experience working in dementia care

Employment Conditions

The recruitment concerns four permanent full-time positions. Falu Municipality applies the full-time agreement, which means that full-time is a right and part-time is an opportunity; you therefore have the possibility to influence how much you want to work. You must be able to work according to a fixed schedule including day/evening and weekend shifts. Start date by agreement.
