Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you have clear business and overall responsibility for projects involving underground cables, primarily electricity and to some extent fiber, with a focus on the Gothenburg region. The projects are run within the framework of framework agreements with fixed price lists, which means the focus of the role is on steering, follow-up, and economics rather than operational execution.

You are responsible for ensuring that projects are feasible, efficient, and profitable, driving them from start to final inspection. This includes securing permits, planning, and resource allocation, as well as ensuring that all completed work is measured, documented, and compensated correctly according to AMA standards. You handle several parallel projects and continuously follow up on economics, forecasts, and invoicing data in close collaboration with finance and management.

In this role, you lead foremen, own staff, and subcontractors. You are expected to have a good understanding of permit processes and work in urban environments, as well as the ability to handle changes and potential disruptions without losing business or project momentum. An important part of the assignment is also to identify and handle additional work (ÄTA) and drive a continuous business dialogue with the client.

The role is based out of Två Grävare's office in Stenungsund. To maintain close collaboration with colleagues and operations, you are expected to be on-site approximately 2–3 days per week.

Examples of tasks:

• Business and economic responsibility for projects
• Steering and follow-up of projects within framework agreements and fixed prices
• Ensuring permits, follow-up, and invoicing data according to AMA
• Leading the project organization (foremen, own staff, and subcontractors)
• Maintaining continuous dialogue with clients, municipalities, and internal functions

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Experience in project management within civil engineering and infrastructure, preferably
• Knowledge of AMA and compensation codes
• Knowledge of contract law (AB/ABT) and handling of additional work (ÄTA)
• Experience working with municipalities, authorities, and/or energy companies is a merit
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing

To succeed in the role, you need to be business-minded and structured in your approach. You have a good understanding of how projects become profitable and work consistently with follow-up, documentation, and economics, even when conditions change. You are accustomed to handling permit processes and administration in parallel with project management, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks, whether it concerns permits, measurement, or invoicing data.

You are confident in your dialogue with clients, authorities, and internal functions and understand the value of driving the business forward through clear communication and functional agreements. At the same time, you are pragmatic and solution-oriented, with the ability to prioritize correctly when projects change or obstacles arise. The role requires that you can maintain the big picture, make decisions, and drive projects forward without being operationally involved in the daily execution.
