Vargön Alloys AB is one of Europe's largest manufacturers of ferrochrome and employs approximately 230 people. The company is beautifully situated by the Göta River in Vänersborg Municipality and is part of CoreX Holding. Our product, ferrochrome, is an alloy that gives steel hardness and corrosion resistance.

We are currently looking for a Machine Operator for our logistics department, which currently consists of approximately 20 employees. This position is a temporary summer contract.

The role involves operating wheel loaders (CAT 988, 976, 966, and Volvo 350, 180, 150 mm), dump trucks, and other small machinery. You will also perform other tasks such as plant operations, snow clearing, and cleaning. The work can be physically demanding at times, so good physical fitness and health are required.

Working hours are weekdays from 07:00 to 15:30, with some scheduled weekends.

Qualifications

• Wheel loader license/certificate.
• Experience operating heavy machinery and dump trucks. We prefer candidates with at least 3 years of experience.
